Warrior's for Christ

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11

Warrior's for Christ is the youth ministry of Higher Ground Worship Center. The youth range from 6th-12th grade and come from various walk of life. Our desire for the youth is to teach them the priciples of the Bible in a way that is best understood by the youth of today. We not only teach a simple message from the Bible, but also use games, plays, dramas, music and fun activities to make the teaching become more real for them. Our youth are encouraged to take the Good News of Jesus Christ outside the four walls and share it with a lost and dying generation of youth, the community around them, and the nations here and abroad.

Warriors for Christ meet every week. Parents are welcomed to stay with your youth or pick up and drop off your youth afterwards. We look forward to seeing you there!!!

Children's Ministry

Little Lights

"You are the light of the world."

Infants and toddlers, from birth to kindergarten, are taught the Word of God in a loving, exciting, safe environment. The Little Lights learn Bible truths, worship God, do fun projects, play games, and have a snack time.

 

Soldier's of Zion

"The Lord is with you, mighty warrior" Judges 6:12

"Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes" Joel 2:2

Training kid's grades 1-6 to be a voice to their generation. A voice that proclaims the Word of the Lord. They are taught interactive Bible studies, how to pray effectively, Bible verse memorization, acting out short skits, they do projects, and play fun games. The Soldier's of Zion kid's are being raised up in the church ministries by rotating through all the positions that help a church run effectively. These kid's are learning to serve their community at outreaches and church events.
